fabgen
fabgen checks a part before it is ordered — 3D printing (FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF), PCBs and CNC — and estimates price ranges by class of service, with assumptions, warnings and dated sources.
Numbers come from the fabgen engine: mesh checks from the file itself (closed mesh, wall thickness by sampled ray cast, overhangs for six orientations, sealed cavities, build volume), process rules and published price tables with dates and verification flags. The model file is read locally and never uploaded. Prices are planning ranges, never quotes.
